art is a (product of) human activity, made with the intention of stimulating the
human senses as well as the human mind; thus art is an action, an object, or
a collection of actions and objects created whit the intention of transmitting
emotions and/or ideas.
basically, art is an act of expressing our feelings, thoughts, and observations.
ARTIST
artist is a descriptive term applied to a person who engages in an activity
deemed to be an art.
most often, the term describes those who create within a context of 'high
culture', activities such as drawing, painting, sculpture, acting, dancing, writing,
filmmaking, photography, and music - people who use imagination, talent, or
skill to create works that may be judged to have an aesthetic value.
there is no consensus about what constitutes "art" or who is, or who is not, an
"artist".
however, an "artist" is anyone who considers himself to be an artist. |
